Texting

When you wake up in the morning a usual teen goes and grabs their phone from there night stand or desk, where ever they put their phone at night and starts the day texting their friends. Once the clock hits 7:45 and the bell rings for school, it's time to put the phone away...but for some they don't.
Texting for teens is their life. That's how they find their friends so they can go to lunch and find out what the drama is for the day. If they can't text during class, then they can't find any of that out.
I think that during school we should be able to text during class, not just during passing periods or at lunch, the whole day. It's not that big of a distraction. The staff at school should be understanding and just let us text when they aren't teaching anymore, because since they aren't letting you text during class you end up texting while the teacher is teaching, which makes us not pay attention making you have bad grades even if you are an +A student.
When you are in class, working on your homework and your phone vibrates you want to pull it out of your pocket, but the teacher is standing right next to you. So you wait until the period is over and your mom texted you. You call her back and tell her that you couldn't text her back, because the teacher was standing right next to you. She starts yelling at you, and tells you that it was very important. Your just thinking in your head that it wasn't my fault, if the school would let me text I wouldn't have gotten in trouble.
So, when it comes to teens texting in class I think the teachers can be a little more understanding and come up with something that we both are happy with. If the teachers do that, then maybe the grades will go up, and the students will pay more attention with the teacher is teaching. I know students already text while the teacher is teaching, but if you are no of the perfect students that can't break the rules, but you need to text your mom that you are going to practice or whatever they won't text them and then they end up getting in trouble, and it wasn't your fault it was the schools. It pretty much just comes done to if they teachers will go for the idea, but if not then you are just going to have to risk getting in trouble with the teacher.

  1. I agree.
Most of the students text anyways, even if they're not supposed too.
So why not let us text anyways?

  2. I totally agree. I think if they let us text, there would be less kids getting in trouble, and less parents getting mad at the school for taking their kids phones away.
